Imamura had been with Dentsu since 2006, where he was responsible for content and new business development in digital marketing. Prior to Dentsu, he worked with Sony in its sales and planning division for electronic devices, its Singapore office and in the licensing business for memory sticks and PlayStation.
At Kenshoo, Imamura will oversee the predictive marketing software provider’s efforts in the Asia-Pacific region and Japan, reporting to chief revenue officer Ted Krantz, who said in a press release announcing the hire:
The Asian Pacific markets, in which Kenshoo’s marketing platform is widely used, are key to our future growth. We already have significant operations in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, and we plan to help digital marketers in those countries fully embrace the power of our proprietary search and social advertising technology.
Yukihiko Imamura is the ideal person to be Kenshoo’s leader in the APJ region due to his excellent commercial drive and his thorough knowledge of the Asian and Japanese markets. I am confident that he will be active for us as Kenshoo’s key person in this fast-growing region.
