Seth Rogen reportedly nabs Steve Wozniak role in Steve Jobs film




Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming film about former Apple CEO Steve Jobs has reportedly found its Steve Wozniak: Seth Rogen.

The news, first reported by Variety on Thursday, comes just one week after Sorkin confirmed that Christian Bale will portray Jobs in the Sony Pictures film, which is based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of the late tech luminary.

Sony did not immediately respond to Mashable‘s request for comment about the casting report, but Rogen is no stranger to working with Sony. He previously starred in the studio’s This Is the End last year and will star in The Interview in December. Read more…

Steve Wozniak: Apple Maps Problems Are Not That Severe


Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak weighed in on the Apple Maps app, which became the subject of controversy after it replaced the Google Maps app in iOS 6.

Many people see the Apple Maps app as inferior to Google Maps, pointing out many errors and inconsistencies in the app.

Some, like Justin Wilson, weren’t bothered by the new app, and Steve Wozniak seems to fall in the latter camp.

“I have been reading about the problems, and I don’t know if they are that severe,” Wozniak told ZDnet Australia.

He did encounter some problems, though. “I tried to navigate somewhere, and I couldn’t get to where I wanted to by voice (…) I don’t know yet about Maps — I’m a little worrie…
