Pope Francis’ 10-day trip to Cuba and the United States kicked off on Saturday, with the Argentine Pope making his first visit to Cuba.

On Sunday, Francis opened his first full day in Cuba by celebrating Mass at Revolution Plaza in Havana. Hundreds of thousands turned out to see him.

LOS ANGELES — “The drought was the very worst,” Taylor Swift pined, gently serenading a sold-out crowd at the Staples Center with her achingly personal song “Clean.”

Not to be mistaken for the actual drought happening in California, the lyrics got a sincere explainer from Swift. Before launching into “Clean,” Swift truly demonstrated what she does best — distilling emotions, with the twist of her words, to make them eerily relatable

“If there are any moments of great joy or great pain in your life in which you have turned to any of my songs I consider that to be the highest compliment,” Swift, 25, said, “so thank you. Life moves at a different pace for someone who is heartbroken, or someone who is lonely, or when you’re taking hold of your insecurities that your head is cooking up and screaming into your ears.
