Best Parking Helps You Find Nearby Parking Options

iOS/Android/Web: When you need to find parking quickly and you’re willing to pay for it, the Best Parking app can help. Best Parking offers parking info for over 100 cities nationwide.

You can search both cities and airports for daily or monthly parking. Simply put in your location (or let the app find it for you using your phone’s GPS) and the amount of time you want to park for. Then the app displays a scale of prices from lowest (yellow) to highest (red). You can even use the app to make reservations at some parking locations, if they have reserved parking for people who use the app. For $ 2.99 you can upgrade to the premium version of the app. The upgraded features include: advanced search filters, navigation, a complete rate schedule, the ability to toggle between list and maps view, entrance photos for city locations, and the app following your vehicle’s current location. The app itself is simple and the number of parking options offered are numerous. See if your city is covered by checking out the site linked below or giving the app a try.

HighSchoolStudentsLaptops650Sequoia High School in Redwood City, Calif., is reaping the benefits of being located near Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park.

AP reported that Facebook will donate 50 laptops to the school and conduct a class to teach students how to create their own mobile applications.

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in an appearance at Sequoia High School, as reported by AP:

If you start with the assumption that everything in the future is going to be different than it is now, then it’s not true that anyone else knows any more than you guys do about what’s going to work in the future.

And Facebook chief information officer Tim Campos told AP:

What we’re really trying to do is to create the same types of opportunities for the next Mark Zuckerberg.
