‘Fault in Our Stars’ author sends books to Ferguson library after director’s AMA

During an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit Saturday, the director of the Ferguson Municipal Public Library—which has become a symbol of resilience in a community rocked by protests—mentioned that The Fault in Our Stars is among the top-read Young Adult novels currently at the library

As an unexpected result, the author of the popular book-turned-movie, John Green, offered to send signed copies of his works to the library, which has been providing extra programming in the wake of violent protests earlier this week. Facebook Executives, Directors Exercise Restricted Stock Units; Execs Sell Shares

WallStreetBull650Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg, chief product officer Chris Cox, chief technology officer Mike Schroepfer, vice president and general counsel Colin Stretch, chief accounting officer Jas Athwal and directors Reed Hastings and Erskine Bowles reported in Form 4 filings Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission that they exercised restricted stock units and, in the cases of the executives, sold off shares in the company.

Sandberg exercised 74,940 RSUs that were set to expire March 24, 2021. She then sold 122,255 shares of class-A common stock in Facebook at $ 72.9008 per share, 161,079 shares at $ 73.5729 apiece, 9,828 at $ 71.7106 each and 29,276 at $ 72.6199. Sandberg now holds 5,414,445 shares of Facebook class-A common stock.

Cox exercised 59,952 RSUs that were set to expire March 24, 2021. He then sold 7,750 class-A shares at $ 71.7427 each and another 23,533 at $ 72.6153, leaving him with a total of 603,520 shares in the company.

Schroepfer exercised 59,952 RSUs that were set to expire March 24, 2021. He then sold 7,807 Facebook class-A shares at $ 71.7125 apiece and another 23,476 at $ 72.6102. He now holds 259,070.

Stretch exercised 10,088 RSUs that were set to expire March 24, 2021. He then sold 1,464 Facebook class-A shares at $ 71.7583 per share and another 3,800 at $ 72.6374, leaving him with 74,728 shares in the company.

Athwal exercised 3,728 RSUs that were set to expire March 24, 2021. He then sold 1,500 class-A shares in the company at $ 71.61 apiece, 546 at $ 71.7573 and 1,400 at $ 72.6936. Athwal now holds 123,993 shares of Facebook class-A common stock.

Hastings exercised 1,250 RSUs that were set to expire June 12, 2021. He now holds 70,554 Facebook shares.

And Bowles exercised 1,250 RSUs that were set to expire Sept. 5, 2021. He now holds 23,158 shares in the company.
