Episode Launches Demi Lovato: Path to Fame Interactive Story App

Demi Lovato Path to Fame

Pocket GemsEpisode, the mobile storytelling network that allows users to engage with interactive stories, has released Demi Lovato: Path to Fame on mobile devices. The app sees users joining Demi Lovato on tour, and helping their character fulfill her dream of becoming a famous musician.

In Demi Lovato: Path to Fame, players will make choices affecting the 12-part main storyline and their fame level. The app keeps track of three main stats: fame, friendship and love. While some choices will clearly relate to and affect one of the three stats, others are more subtle.

As users advance through the story, the app allows them to frequently change their clothing to fit the storyline, with some options available to purchase with premium currency. Players can also spend premium currency on special storyline choices.

Gamers will level up as their fame increases, and can unlock bonus side-stories and extra features based on their choices and stats. These stories focus on things like dates, parties and more, while bonus features include a photo booth which allows users to dress their character and take selfies with other characters from the app, including Lovato, and a personality quiz based on Lovato’s songs. The selfies and quiz results can be shared to Facebook and Twitter.

In a statement, Lovato commented on her involvement with the app:

I wanted to make sure this story captured my voice perfectly, so I worked in tandem with the Episode team to add authentic touches. As my Lovatics know, it’s very important that my personal experiences come through in everything I do and this story is no different. I think they will really enjoy this exclusive glimpse into my life that they haven’t seen before.

Demi Lovato: Path to Fame is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store. The story is also available as part of the Episode platform on Google Play.
