“Weird Al” Yankovic released a new, and of course funny, music video as part of his #8videos8days. Today’s video was a parody of Lorde’s song “Royals.” His latest music video, “Foil,” features Patton Oswalt, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant. It deals with rotten leftovers and saving them all with aluminum foil…then escalates pretty quickly to him “cracking the code” about conspiracy theories, the Illuminati and world domination. “Don’t mind that, I’m protected ’cause I made this hat from aluminum foil,” the singer continues.

The first release was a spoof of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” with “Tacky,” which features both hilarious lyrics and clothing alike. (Not to mention poking fun at lots of pop culture references) The second video, arguably the funniest thus far, parodies Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” with a laugh-out-loud song “Word Crimes.” It is also the most popular of the three at this point, bringing in over three million views in just one day.

His new album “Mandatory Fun” was released July 15 and he announced on his Twitter the next day how it was already #1 on iTunes.
