If you use LinkedIn, you’ve probably acquired a few endorsements from your network for skills you might not actually have. Finally, you can opt out of those irrelevant endorsements and get rid of that big box on LinkedIn telling you about them.
Donna Svei on AvidCareerist, via Petra Fisher, offers the full instructions. Essentially, just go to edit your profile and then edit the Skills & Endorsements settings, as seen above. If you don’t want any endorsements at all, just click No. Or if you just don’t want LinkedIn to suggest skills for you to others, then uncheck the “Include me in endorsement suggestions to my connections” option.
Thankfully, you can also get rid of those email notifications too.
