If you want the fastest flash drive around for an affordable price, our friends at the Wirecutter have crowned the SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 as king of the pack.
The Wirecutter tested a ton of USB 3.0 flash drives to find the fastest one, and landed on the SanDisk, beating out their old pick (which we’ve featured before), the Patriot Supersonic. The SanDisk Extreme reads files at about 230 MB per second, and writes at about 200 MB per second, more than twice the speed of the Patriot. And, it only costs $ 42 for the 32GB version, which isn’t bad at all. If you don’t need that much space, you can grab a 16GB version for only $ 26.50. Hit the link below to check it, and head over to the Wirecutter for their full review and collection of tests.
