As March drew to a close, a major discussion drew the eyes and ears of the world here in the U.S. This week, the Supreme Court heard arguments on same-sex marriage and the Defense of Marriage Act, setting up a potential milestone ruling on the divisive issue:

Storify goes VIP

In other news, we made a few headlines of our own this week by announcing our new VIP program:
Along with the launch of Storify VIP, we revealed new partnerships with a major media organization and the WordPress VIP platform. The response has been huge, and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support throughout the launch.

Congrats to @Storify – the pro product seems balanced perfectly with the free product to add value for publishers. http://thenextweb.com/insider/2013/03/28/storify-starts-to-monetize-with-vip-a-premium-plan-for-live-blogging-custom-sources-and-more/

Elsewhere, we saw Austin, Texas turn the news that they were on North Korea’s “hit list” into a humorous hashtag the city rallied behind as everyone tried to answer the question, “#WhyAustin?”

In the “creative use of Storify” department, The New York Times Magazine put together an ongoing story narrative using tweets from their audience. We love seeing experiments like this, and hope others start doing something similar.
The HBO show “Veep” also impressed us with an extensive production diary of their upcoming season 2, full of months of photos and updates from the cast and crew done throughout filming.
Thanks again for another week of amazing stories, and be sure to let us know what you’ve been creating by shouting @Storify!
