Michael Dunn Convicted of Murder in Shooting Over Loud Rap Music

A jury found a Florida man guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday for the 2012 shooting of an unarmed black teenager following an argument over playing music too loudly.

Michael Dunn, 47, had told Jordan Davis, 17, and his three friends to turn down their rap music outside of a convenience store in Jacksonville, Florida. When the teens refused, Dunn fired 10 shots with a handgun into their vehicle, three of which hit Davis, who later died of gunshot injuries.
