And a decade later, we are Liking, Tweeting, Pinning, Plussing, and following more than ever. Feb. 2004 thefacebook.com launched, July 2006 Twitter started its journey, June 2011 Google launched its own social network Google+, we spent 121.1 Billion minutes on social networking sites, LinkedIn is the only network where 50 to 64 years-olds (24 percent) use more than 18 – 29 years-olds (15 percent). Feb 2014 Facebook buys WhatsApp for $ 19 Billion.
