NCAA Football has partnered with Collegiate Licensing Company on a Facebook contest to determine which NCAA college/university team has the most loyal fans. The winner of the College Colors Day Spirit competition will receive $ 10,000 to go toward its general scholarship fund.
The contest, which runs through Aug. 29, includes 165 colleges and universities.
This is how it works: You can pledge allegiance to your favorite team and keep track of national and conference rankings daily through the Facebook app.
After you pledge on Facebook, you will be entered to win prizes and get discounts by playing an instant win game. In addition, you can check out and submit photos for the College Colors Day fan photo gallery, and download a Facebook cover photo to help promote your favorite school.
“We are excited to celebrate college sports fans’ passion and enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming college football season with the College Colors Day Spirit Cup,” said Catherine Gammon, senior vice president of brand development, Collegiate Licensing Company. “We encourage all fans to pledge and spread the word with fellow fans to ensure their favorite school is crowned the winner of the College Colors Day Spirit Cup.”
