UberPOOL discounts make service more affordable to those who can already easily afford it


During this year’s Dreamforce conference in San Francisco earlier this month, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick was introduced as a friend of the massive event’s ringmaster, Marc Benioff.

Kalanick was also provided with an hour of stage time to deliver his company’s latest PR messaging, unchallenged.

A good chunk of that conversation was dedicated to UberPOOL, the service launched last summer wherein riders heading in roughly the same general direction share a ride.
