Reader Jayesh wanted a desktop that was playful, but also helped him get things done, so he took his love of Limbo (the game, not the the theological concept) and put together this desktop, symbolizing the struggle to get things done while simultaneously putting all his tools at his fingertips.
Jayesh submitted his desktop to our Desktop Showcase, which is what you should do if you want to see it highlighted here! Just post it (and how you made it) to your Kinja blog (the one that came with your account) and tag it “desktop showcase.” We’ll see it, look it over, and if we like it, we’ll feature it!
If you like this setup however, this is what you’ll need to make it your own:
That’s all you need. You can see more shots of the desktop in action at Jayesh’s Kinja blog, linked below.
Do you have a good-looking, functional desktop of your own to show off? Share it with us! Post it to your personal Kinja blog using the tag Desktop Showcase or add it to our Lifehacker Desktop Show and Tell Flickr pool. Screenshots must be at least at least 640×360 and please include information about what you used, links to your wallpaper, skins, and themes, and any other relevant details. If your awesome desktop catches our eye, you might get featured!
