Tesla Model X revealed: 250-mile range, falcon doors, Ludicrous mode




Turns out, the top-hinged falcon doors are the least surprising part of the new Tesla Model X.

In true Tesla fashion, Elon Musk, company co-founder and CEO, pulled the covers off the Model X with a large helping of braggadocio and drama at the company headquarters in Fremont, California Tuesday night. Musk has good reason to exercise all of his grit: The new, all-electric crossover SUV has a lot to brag about. And, honestly, for as much as Elon Musk likes to leak about Tesla developments, he’s held a lot of the details of the Model X close to the vest.
