As March drew to a close, a major discussion drew the eyes and ears of the world here in the U.S. This week, the Supreme Court heard arguments on same-sex marriage and the Defense of Marriage Act, setting up a potential milestone ruling on the divisive issue:

Elsewhere, we saw Austin, Texas turn the news that they were on North Korea’s “hit list”
into a humorous hashtag the city rallied behind as everyone tried to answer the question, “#WhyAustin?”
In the “creative use of Storify” department, The New York Times Magazine put together an ongoing story narrative using tweets from their audience
. We love seeing experiments like this, and hope others start doing something similar.
The HBO show “Veep” also impressed us with an extensive production diary
of their upcoming season 2, full of months of photos and updates from the cast and crew done throughout filming.
