Social media has quickly gone from being a personal hobby to a professional skill that every business is looking for in a candidate. When you apply for numerous positions, it is a benefit to say you have experience working with social media in such a context. Especially if you plan on going into public relations, marketing, or business full stop.

The Spring of 2014 is going to be incredible for internship opportunities. If you have been considering getting involved in such a program, this is the best time to apply.
If you have to travel to another city you might need to take care of such details as accommodation (think of Booking.com or Couchsurfing to begin with) and car rental (our personal favorite here is CheapcarRental.net).
A well selected internship can make or break a future career, opening doors that would have otherwise been closed before. Take this chance and consider it an adventure.
