It’s been a great week for discovering top-notch social media articles! In this week’s roundup of smart social media stories, we feature articles from Canva, Moblized, Neal Schaffer, Buffer and more. Check out the knowledge they had to share these past few days:

1.) 7 Ways to Stand Out on Facebook

One of the best ways to stand out on Facebook is to share visually appealing images. Canva, a design tool that makes it simple to create beautiful graphics, knows a lot about this topic. In a guest post from Aaron Lee of Post Planner, he shares his advice on 7 Ways to Stand Out on Facebook. Many of his helpful recommendations are design focused.

By the way, if you didn’t know already, ShortStack recently integrated with Canva! Read about the new feature here.

2.) 5 Powerful Software for Explosive Social Media Campaigns

Trigg Taylor of the company Moblized wrote a post ranking five top social media software platforms. Their article they titled 5 Powerful Software for Explosive Social Media Campaigns is thorough and well researched. Shout out to Taylor for mentioning ShortStack in it!

3.) 6 Super Quick Social Media Productivity Tips

We all know social media can be a huge time suck. That’s why we’re glad Neal Shaffer, who manages one of our favorite social media blogs, Maximize Social Business, wrote a great article that features 6 Super Quick Social Media Productivity Tips. In his post, he shares his tips and advice for working smarter, rather than longer.

4.) The 10 Best Social Media Slideshare Presentations of 2014

If you’re not a subscriber to Buffer’s blog yet, get on it! Their team consistently posts helpful and insightful content. Case in point: Kevan Lee, one of Buffer’s Content Crafters, recently shared a post on their blog that includes a roundup of The 10 Best Social Media Slideshare Presentations of 2014. In his list of slideshares, you’ll find social media strategies, big-picture ideas, stats, research, and more.

5.) Facebook Likes, Comments, Shares Are Important, But Don’t Forget Post Clicks, Other Clicks

This is a short, but important-to-read post from AllFacebook. The metric all admins need to know about is Post Clicks. Learn all about the post-perception-changing metric here.
