Obama Speech Tops Facebook Mentions


President Barack Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention late last week not only set a politics record on Twitter, but it also topped the list of most mentioned moments on Facebook during the past two weeks.

Mitt Romney’s speech, on the other hand, came in at number 10, while the Republican National Convention as a whole grabbed the fourth spot.

From out friends at Facebook, here’s a look at the top ten most buzzed-about moments on the platform over the past two weeks — which included both parties’ national conventions as well as the MTV Video Music Awards, Hurricane Isaac and the NFL season kickoff:
