Tomorrow we celebrate International Women’s Day. The theme for 2015 International Women’s Day should be a reminder to acknowledge and an exhortation to inspire.
To the five generations of women in my family I have had the privilege of living alongside. To the fellow speakers and industry peers who advance our/their profession through work and dedication. To the many women who still do not have a voice. You do “make it happen” for the people in your/our lives often without hesitation and all to often without recognition.
Luck is on my side because I am building more professional collaborations and opportunities to work with women this year. (Announcements in due course.)
It’s been a while since we had a fun comments thread here and I would love to learn about you — men and women are welcome, so make an exception and follow the links from Twitter/social or from email/the feed reader and pick one or/and all the questions below. I’ll go first.
Which living person do you most admire?
My mother, because she had five careers way before Tom Peters predicted we would and she is still open to new experiences.
What turns you on creatively?
Working with as diverse a group of people as I can find — multilingual/cultural, points of view, experiences, and talents.
What is love?
My highest achievement.
