Kickstarter Arrives In Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Ireland

People in Scandinavia and Ireland can now create their projects on Kickstarter, and on October 21, those projects can be launched to the public. Projects from these countries will join the worldwide Kickstarter community of projects, and with the location filtering option, you can find projects native to these newly added countries. Projects are funded in respective local currencies too.

Kickstarter’s chief executive, Yancey Strickler, said, “The Irish cultural scene has always been incredibly vibrant, and we can’t wait to see what amazing, ingenious and unique ideas will now be part of the Kickstarter universe.” With the addition of these four countries, Kickstarter projects can now launch in ten countries total – Australia, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the US.
