Joan Rivers Remembered at Star-Studded Funeral in New York

Friends, family and fans bid farewell to Joan Rivers on Sunday morning during a star-studded funeral at a Jewish synagogue in New York City.

The comedian, who died last week at 81, originally wanted her funeral to be a “huge showbiz affair” with “Meryl Steep crying in five different accents” and “a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyoncé’s.”

While her sendoff on Sunday, which began at 11 a.m. ET, was more subdued, many celebrities gathered to pay their respects. Sarah Jessica Parker, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Griffin, Rosie O’Donnell, Donald Trump, Barbara Walters and Kelly Osbourne were among those in attendance, according to People magazine. Read more…
