There’s no denying Instagram has become a top-ranked social media network. And suddenly, or so it seems, users are engaging with brands on the platform.
It’s turning out to be a good platform for brands: Instagram users are 58 times more likely to “like,” comment on or share a brand’s post than Facebook users, and 120 times more likely than Twitter users, according to today’s featured infographic from Salesforce.

• Nearly 60 percent of millennial Instagram users in Canada are more likely to remember a great branded Instagram account over a TV commercial. (This is one of my favorite Instagram fun facts.)
• Nearly 30 percent of users in Canada have purchased a product a product discovered on Instagram in the last 6 months.
• Luxury retail, luxury auto, quick service restaurants (think McDonald’s) and television are the top industries on Instagram.
