Hong Kong Protests Continue With Fewer Participants




HONG KONG—So you thought the big street protests that began in Hong Kong late last month have fizzled and gone away? Think again.

Contrary to many people’s expectations, the street protests in this Asian financial hub – complete with umbrellas, pro-democracy banners and blocked multi-lane thoroughfares – are very much alive and kicking.

True, the number of people who have been attending the street protests over the past week or so are well below the mass shows that the pro-democracy campaigners managed to muster in late September and early October. Read more…
