Hearing Aid Company Adds Sound to Google Street View




Google Street View can show you everything from a local neighborhood to the pyramids of Giza. But now, a new third-party feature could provide an extra dimension of reality into your viewing experience.

The British subset of Italian hearing-aid company Amplifon created ambient noise for three Street View locations: Balboa Park in San Diego, California; Place du Palais in Monaco and Hapuna Beach in Waimea, Hawaii. Amplifon is not affiliated with Google, and developed the project as a web experiment in late July.
