Facebook announced this week an update to Events for Page managers. Roughly 30% of all Facebook Events are created by Pages, and now, new insights, tools, and ads will be available for Pages to use in order to boost Events.
Pages can create ads for the News Feed on desktop and mobile, which will build awareness of events and drive responses. Before this upgrade, Event ads were only visible in the right-hand column on desktop.
Event hosts can also receive insights showing the number of users that saw a link to the event on Facebook, the number of users that viewed the event, and the number of joins, saves and maybes the event receives.
