Amazon Presents The Dash Button: A “Buy now with 1-Click” Shopping Solution

What if you could buy anything with just one click? Sounds impossible, does not it? But now you can. With its dangerously convenient “Buy now with 1-ClickDash Button, Amazon once again proved that impossible is not a word in their vocabulary.

With this miraculous Dash Button, one tap is all you need to record your order for various household items automatically via Amazon Prime. And next thing you know the products are being delivered to your doorsteps.

For example, you are out of diapers. All you have to do is to tap your Huggies Dash Button. Within 48 hours you will get your desired products. You can even select the pack size using the Amazon Shopping app.

The Dash Button is a Wi-Fi-enabled, USB drive-sized gadget that comes with an adhesive back and a hook. So, you can stick or hang it anywhere in your house. Just connect the Dash button with your home Wi-Fi network using your Amazon app, and it’s ready to go.

If you are like me, you will probably start thinking – what happens if I (or any member of my family, especially the kids) tap the button 2-3 times? Will I receive a bulk order? Relax, Amazon got you covered. After the Dash Button is tapped, you’ll receive a notification on your smartphone and Amazon will need a confirmation to proceed. And the Dash Button responds to the first press until your products are delivered. They think of every little detail. Right?

This program is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, and as of now, the devices are available by invite only.

Soon, your appliances will have a similar Amazon-powered technology called the “Dash Replacement Service” that will automatically reorder related items (like, coffee, detergent etc.) on your behalf.

Imagine the possibilities –

  • Whirlpool washing machine will reorder detergent.
  • Brita water pitchers will eventually reorder their own filters.
  • Pour over coffee machines from select brands will reorder its own coffee beans.
  • Brother printers will reorder their own ink cartridge.

And shopping list will eventually become a thing of the past.

But these products will not hit the market until later this year. Till then,  you can sign up for the Amazing… oops… Amazon Dash Button and take your online shopping experience to the next level.
