Agency Hires Interns Based on Brand Ideas for Twinkies



Minneapolis-based ad agency Campbell Mithun will hire its “Lucky 13” summer interns by asking for their ideas on how to best re-engage the Twinkies brand with consumers

The agency, which created the brand’s “Where’s the cream filling?” ads, asks applications as the brand is going to auction on March 13 due to bankruptcy.

The online internship application process opened at the beginning of this month, and the deadline is March 29. Interns will be hired in three discipline areas: account leadership, media strategy and media negotiations.

Applicants will be required to submit a resume, a “Dear Campbell Mithun, hire me because…” note, a “Dear new owners of Twinkies” statement and a URL address for their Twinkies recommendation.
