A baby giraffe was just born live on the Internet




Katie the giraffe just spent about an hour giving birth — and her labor was broadcast live online by Animal Planet.

She took the attention in stride, though, even though more than 1.4 million eyeballs were watching her every move at one point—she even got some excited lookie-loos from the stall next door to the maternity area at the Dallas Zoo, where she lives.
