The 2013 Sundance Film Festival kicks off today, and for those of us that couldn’t make it to Park City, Utah to watch all the films live, YouTube is offering 12 of the 65 short films selected on the Screening Room YouTube channel.
The Screening Room features twelve “of the short films debuting at the 2013 Sundance Film festival…hand-selected for YouTube by the Short Film Programmers.”
Keri Putnam, executive director of the Sundance Institute, told USA Today, “Short films have always been a very important part of our programming mix. It’s a very exciting opportunity to partner with YouTube to share these films with a much wider audience.”
This is the second year that YouTube has featured Sundance films in their Screening Room. Last year they also features twelve shorts. This year’s selection includes Broken Night, The Apocalypse, Black Metal, Catnip: Egress to Oblivion?, Irish Folk Furniture, Marcel, King Of Tervuren, Movies Made From Home #6, The Event, The Roper, Seraph, What Do We Have In Our Pockets?, and When The Zombies Come. You can check them all out in the playlist below.
